will 2 different PSU's cpu power work?

Tummy

Hello,

I'm building a new PC with the ryzen 1200 and it requires an 8-pin CPU-power cable. Unfortunantly, i don't have a PSU with an 8-pin connector at the moment. But i do have 2 powersupply's with 4 pin connectors, can I do both the connectors in the 8-pin socket and power the CPU? I don't want to risk anything because i'm poor, so if it is better to not try it, I will wait for my new PSU.

rail voltages won't be alike, could cause problems.

I would strongly advise against it but there may be some hoodwinked way of making it work. If you mess up though, it could be damaging to your hardware.

That means you have either old or shitty ones - or both.

Please name the PSU you have right now.

It might be the case that its totally possible that they could destroy your components...

That definately will destroy the components and cause a fire...

So do NOT ever think about that.

And BTW I see that you are from germany, I live in the Netherlands. The PSU want to get is from Amazon.de. Do you have any experience with Amazon.de and their shipping?
