Driver for gtx 1050 ti

Hi there ,

I finally put together my new PC . 

( 2x Xeon L5420, 16 gb ddr2 ram, gtx 1050 ti, 1 tb harddrive ...) 

 

The problem I have, is to get the drivers for my gpu . 

Since my PC doesn't have a disk / DVD reader I can't use the CD , that came with the gpu ( from gigabyte ) in order to install the drivers . 

The next problem is , that I cannot afford windows 10 as an operating system yet , so I have to use Linux mint . 

 

Is there anybody who can help me ?

just use windows with out activating it

You can install Windows 10 and use it for free. You will only get a watermark down right and you cannot adjust your background.

Download your drivers from NVIDIA’s website.

 

You can use Windows 10 without a license, but you’ll only get a black background with a “Not activated” watermark below.

Pick your operating system and your card download install.

That didnt work . 

I downloaded the correct driver , but Linux is not able to install / to open the package
