im trying to get some headphones for gaming. #budget,mid,high-end

Sure high end, let us look at the cheapest option then: Sennheiser HD 800, but with those you kinda need to be ready to drop 500-2000$ on a DAC and amp, since they are very picky. You could also get idk focal utopia, they are "only" going to cost you 4000$. 

Let's look at the mid-range. Here you can basically go from headphones that cost 150$ and all the way up to 800-1000$ and everything between.

 

So why don't you give a budget instead of that other BS.

In all honesty you dont need $400+ headphones for gaming. Just buy a pair of ath ad500x. Great soundstage and very comfortable which make them a great choice for gaming
