hue+ breaks when plugged into strix motherboard

i wanted to know if there was a fix to the nzxt hue+ after being plugged into a strix motherboard. i wanted to see if the hue+ could be controlled with asus aura sync. when i plugged it back into the hue+ connector, only 1 led worked (color green). its very dissapointing to see that something like that broke a strip.

EDIT: wait wait wait. not exactly. i plugged the 4 pin into the 4 pin rgb header in the motherboard

Did you not think of looking up the pinout before you went to fry your LED strip?

Your LED strips are not separate red, green, and blue power wires...
