Razer Blade Stealth 13.3: Should I buy one?

Ok, I have a fully speced out Late 2016 blade stealth, worth 1600 USD new. It has been abused and has a small dent, w/ some chipped paint. A friend told me It would be worth about $1400. I also have a razer core w/ a 1060 3GB in it. So, I was wondering, would it be a good Idea to sell it for the new one w/ a larger QHD display?

Currently my biggest issue w/ the stealth is the 4k Display. I am a gamer, and It is my only laptop other than an Old ASUS that im gonna slap an SSD into soon. It has 8GB DDR3 ram and a GTX950m so It cant game that well. So, the blade stealth's 4k display isnt the best for gaming on a Dual core w/ a bottlenecked 1060.

So, should I sell it for a new one, or not.

Also, I am considering getting the Razer blade Late 2016, and selling the core and Blade stealth to get it.

Any halp is appreciated.

But hot and expensive. You can find 1070 powered laptops at its price if you are welling to look hard enough.

No an aorus X3 v7 is thin and powerful.

A razer blade is an exellent foot warmer with sadly lacking battery life.  I mean, I like my foot warmers to last longer then a few matches of overwatch.

well, i'd always use the heating block plugged in while gaming, if that counts.

I plan to do 1440p video editing, and VR if that means anything

From experience, a Dell or Acer gaming laptop will equal the performance but cost less, chew through less battery and last longer than a Razer Blade of Shit. Those things are as reliable as alarm clocks. Once the warranty ends, the alarm goes off, and things start breaking. I'd sell the Razer and look into an XPS, Predator, maybe even an MSI if you're going to be plugged in more often than not.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Same specs as a blade 14 (1060, 7700hq) same size and 400 bucks less.

Unlocked processor, amazing cooling, similar size, 300 bucks less than the base blade.

GL502VS is kinda meh when it comes to 1070 laptops. Doesn't cool too well while being a tad thick.

If the dual core is causing a lot of issues for you, why not? You can sell the actual unit and get something with thunderbolt 3 that can use the razer core if you want to, but the 3GB 1060 is kinda of meh to be fair since it really isn't a 1060.

A macbook might be a  better choice.Apples products are optimized so well for them that you can probaly do all that better than a 1070
