CPU Loop Color

69 members have voted

  1. 1. What color options should I go with?

    • Keep it as is
      15
    • Change it to blue
      38
    • Make it a darker green
      16

Finally got around to transplanting my build into it's new home this past weekend.

I'm still debating some stuff like the CPU loop color and I know that the CPU loop goes the wrong way around, I need to fix that this weekend (realized it after I assembled and filled everything >:()

I also know that cable management still needs fixing on the GPUs, I'll get to that today :)

Would love to hear thoughts on everything so far though.

They are supposed to be green-ish. I need to get a better paint and redo them, plus better light to capture the color better :)

Did some cable management, redid the CPU loop to flow in the proper direction, swapped out some cable colors to match the theme better as well :)

I still need to make one change, tempered glass. I messed up on the measurements and the glass I got had the holes in the wrong spot :( Gonna try to get the official CAD drawing from CaseLabs for the piece and use that instead of doing it on my own. Once that's installed, it will be 100% completed!!

Not initially but decided to keep it when I realized it after I had finished filling it all.

What are your temps under load? That's some mighty radiators!

Under full synthetic load the GPU temps reach about 50C and the CPU tops out around 55 or so.

Normal gaming load is around 40-45C for the GPU and 40C for the CPU.

What size is that screen? I think the massive size of the case is playing w/ my perception.

It's a 27" screen.

It does look a bit small next to the case though :P

Do you happen to have sketch plans for the desk? I'm planning on doing something similar with a smaller size desk and I'm debating between 4x4s for the legs or something similar to what you have.

I have dimensions for the top but not for the underside

64x30x1 - Made out of Sapele and I believe it's a dark walnut finish but I can't exactly remember

The legs are just IKEA Alex Drawer units
