RX 580 or Used 980Ti?

daiv

So, found a used 980Ti on craiglist for $250 USD. Should I put that into my Ryzen 5 1600 rig instead of the RX 580 that I was originally going to get?

I just spent $293 on a 980 TI Strix... So yeah, get the 980 TI for sure!

Edit: $250 is a really low price, like really low... Be sure to check that card out in person and verify it works.

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Ooo you see that is why that price tag is so low. I would just save $50 more bucks and by an AIB card. Those FE cards are notorious for over heating.

Yeah, I would also say get a after market card...the reference cooler was not good at keeping the 980 Ti cool. It runs really hot when overclocked. It has a lot of power, but needs to be kept cool.

980 Ti.  Bring a computer to test it.  That's a suspiciously low price.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!
