Help rx 480/customer

I sold a brand new rx 480 8gb nitro sapphire to a guy a few days ago it was never opened been in a safe place and he called me today saying after 5 mins of playing it would get white lines in the screen

I told him before he bought it no refunds or anything as it was 100% sealed

but why after 5 mins? i have a feeling he is trying to scam me he asked for the company i bought it from and the warranty im afraid he will grab that info give me a old broken rx and do me in :(

Ask for a picture of the back of the supposed broken RX 480 and ask the store you bought it at to give you the serial number (they should have this recorded). And cross check this.
