Ddr4 16gb 2133 or 8gb 3200 FOR RYZEN

Soo 8gb ddr4 3200 is around 130$ for where i am but i can also get 16gb 2133 for same price? People say ryzen would be better with higher speed memory but i also want 16gb and 16gb 3200 is around 170$ which one should i chose?

Go 16gb indeed. I think Linus made a vid about it although it has been a common question whether memoryspeed affects overall performance and if I remember well, except for specific benchmarks the differences are near insignificant.

16, it's not worth the 5-10% performance improvement max when you could get double the ram instead.

I would go for the 8GB personally, you can always expand in the future to 16 Gb when you need it.  I feel that the 10% performance boost with the 8Gb is more than worth it to me.  Whats the point of getting more ram if your hamstringing your performance?
