moniter Are the prices of monitors expected to rise or decline?

I've been looking into 4k gaming and was just wondering if now is the time to buy or if I should wait for prices to drop (If they are expected to). I'm guessing they are going to rise since consoles are pushing for 4k (Project Scorpio) and manufactures are going to raise prices to catch that cash flow... I don't know

TV for 4k will continue to get cheaper, but will vary based on technology and features, included goodies (ex tablet remote, IPS or OLED panel).  Computer monitors are going to vary on panel type, included features like GSync or FreeSync, etc.  I don't know of any big trend or expected price drops, but you can always watch for sales.

I also think that there aren't any major discounts coming because when Project Scorpion is launching most companies will already sell entry-level 4k TVs.

4k displays are already pretty damn cheap, I expect 1440p panels and high refresh rate panels (1440p 144hz, or 4k 120hz) to decrease in price, but 4k 60hz would likely remain the same.
