Pulled the trigger on a Y27G. But is it any good?

Gdourado

Hello, how are you?

As you may have noticed from my latest posts, I was looking for a new display.

I managed to sell my old screen yesterday and so today I was really hunting for a new monitor.

Just now, I pulled the trigger on a Lenovo Y27G.

It was kind of an impulse buy, since I got it for 315 euros shipped.

I think it is a good deal.

The screen is a curved 27 inch 1080p 144hz VA Panel with G-Sync.

Some reviews are not stellar, mostly due to poor menus and not good value.

But at 315 euros, I think it is kind of a steal.

The cheapest G-Sync monitor I was eyeing here is the AOC 24 inch, but it is a TN, 24 inch and it is 370 shipped.

Anyone knows the Y27G? Is it a good monitor? Was it a good buy?

Cheers!

Not familiar with European prices or G-sync monitors but it seems like a decent deal.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious
