Tons of Apple phones to be reset?!!!

Well if this is true they could potentially wipe all connected Apple devices, even Macbooks and iMacs. That could be much serious than wiping iPhones. 

 

But I doubt that this is true. And even if its true, whats stopping Apple from just rolling out a forced password reset on all accounts before the 7th of April and just call it a day?

Won't surprise me when apple just pays it.

 

I mean let's be realistic here. That amount of money is probably sitting in the couch, in change, in the CEO's office.

I doubt they would do that, whether it was a lot or a little.  It's about the message it sends, which Apple is incredibly conscious of when it comes to everything they do.

If this is legitimate, I highly doubt it's from security gaps in Mac OSX or iOS, so therefor not Apples responsibility. I would venture to guess that the majority, if not all of their accounts, have been gained by fishing and poor password security from the user.

 

Yes, demonstrate an old lady, who doesn't understand what iCloud and hasn't figured out how to adjust the call volume.

 

It's easy to guess Apple passwords. Get emails and passwords from hacked emails and Facebook accounts, then try the same email and password in iTunes! BAM, in there like swimwear. No double authentication, no log in alerts, and same password used for all accounts.

 

No, Apple won't pay for users being idiots.
