Does it matter whether i chose Isopropyl or Ketonatus to remove thermal paste ?

Isopropyl alcohol is always the safest choice. Other alcohols, especially denatured, may leave a residue due to contaminants or the denaturing agent.

Isopropyl that we buy in the stores is denatured...

It's not denatured by other agents though.

 

It's denatured simply by being a type of alcohol that is unfit for human consumption. Other alcohols are denatured by bitterants, methanol, or other chemicals.

It's contaminated by solutes, then. There is a difference.
