Radeon crimson wont update.

So,

 

A new version of the Radeon crimson driver is available (17.3.1). I have 17.2.1. When I open Radeon settings and try to update (I tried both express and costume upgrade), it asks me if I want to "exit radeon settings and launch the installer", I click yes, it loads for a bit, then stops. Then it says "Unable to get installer file to launch the requested page" at the top of the radeon settings window, under the menu bar. How to fix?

Use DDU to get rid of old driver, then install new one.

I have the same issue and thats what I do to get around it.

Radeon Relive doesn't update well for me too

So you'd have to remove the driver with DDU

But honestly I don't see a point in updating driver

Why no update driver? On the release notes it says up to 6% preformance increse.

If you already have the ReLive drivers, you won't see a major performance improvement with anything newer...
