Will Shadow Rock Slim Fit In Inwin Mana2 (Mana136) ?

pollepel

So Shadow Rock Slim = 161 mm height, but max clearance on spec sheet for the case is 160mm.

I have heard of people that can fit stuff in a case as long as its within a mm or so. Has anyone tried it with this case?

Thanks already.

Personaly, I wouldn't risk it. It may fit in some cases, in other the manufacturers really mean it when they say max.

Do you already have the cooler?

Shadow Rock LP has the same performance as Slim and is smaller.

No, it doesn't. The SR Slim performs significantly better. Are you confusing the PR Slim with the SR Slim?

Depending on manufacturing tolerance, the cooler may or may not fit. I would recommend a shorter cooler if possible.

It does according to this review

However I have seen only this one tbh, and I took their word for it.

Case has mesh on side. So in worst case, you can bend mesh almost unnoticeably.

This seems inconsistent with most of the results I've seen that have it performing similarly to smaller 92mm tower or low profile downdraft coolers. The SRLP generally performs a bit worse than the 212 Evo or Pure Rock.

The SR Slim on the other hand is a good bump better than the 212 Evo and is in the tier of coolers such as the NH-U12S, Kotetsu, or PH-TC12DX albeit on the

lower end when it comes to raw performance.

Kyle's SR Slim temps are rather high and my guess would be that the cooler could've been better mounted. The mounting can be pretty finicky with the cooler and result in worse performance than the 212 Evo.
