Crappy laptop?

So I have an MSI A6200 laptop which has an i3-350M and Intel Integrated Graphics and it's SLOW AS HELL so I downloaded CCleaner and I cleaned out my laptop but it's still slow. I thought maybe the laptop was slow because it was full of malware and viruses so I downloaded Malware-Bytes and it cleaned the laptop out (Just to tell you that the program found 259 threats) BUT IT WAS STILL SLOW. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING (other than factory resetting) BUT NOTHING WOULD GET THE GOD DAMN THING TO SPEED UP! If you have a method of speeding up your laptop please tell me because I AM TIRED OF SITTING FOR 10 MINUTES JUST SO THE LAPTOP OR THE PROGRAM TO START UP!!!! (Other than buying a new one because my dad say that it still works blah blah blah)

If you can get inside your laptop buying an SSD will definitely breathe new life into your system, and it isn't near as expensive as buying a new laptop.

The i3 is the problem. I think its the end of its life.

Run MBAM again a couple times. It might take a few sweeps to get rid of everything. Also, reinstalling Windows might be a good idea.

Well, you can do a clean install of Windows... Assuming the hardware isn't faulty.  Disk Check would be good place to start.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Here are a couple of things:

 

Try a clean windows install.

Open the sucker up and spray it with canned air.

A couple of people say that a SSD could help... I guess you could try that.

You could also install a some what light weight Linux distro.

No, I don't think it's the hard drive's problem. Even going on Facebook is slow as hell and it's not the internet's fault either.

It's hard to find canned air where I live and I don't trust online shopping sometimes, an SSD might help but I don't think it's the hard drive's problem

If you are on Windows 7 you could try and slim down the OS by removing unneeded components using programs like NTLite and RT7Lite, but with those you have to rebuild the ISO and test to make sure you didn't remove something that is critical for OS operation. I don't recommend this unless you absolutely know what you are doing, or you can find presets online of good configurations.

 

Alternatively you could run a lightweight Linux distro, something with xfce or openbox. I used to use Crunchbang Linux but that got discontinued and replaced with Bunsen Labs Linux. I used to run that on an old laptop from 2009 which ran a Core 2 Duo and it ran well.

 

Yeah, it seems complicated.
