Yeah :( mine were hynix too, couldn't even +300..

 

Meanwhile the hynix on my classy does +500...

 

 

How much FPS do you think I'd gain from going from like 4.6 to 5 on my cpu? 1 or 2?   I want to beat @VSG 's top 780 TI score.

Makes no sense lol.  Especially since apparently all / most of 780 TI Classifieds use hynix, all the reviews I've seen they're hitting 7800-8100 mhz as well, yet the Hynix put on the G1's is just absolute tird lol

Same here. I can OC the core to 1600, but only ~300 on the memory. Damn Hynix...

i dont mind big images. it still doesn't even take up 1/2 of my monitor :) 4th fastest 970 overall is good as well. if your cpu overclocked you would be 3rd easily

its better to put the spoiler in for people on 1080p or phones anyway :) you should get an i7. it won't really help you much in games but it will be better for benchmarks

Also I noticed when I got the Krait and got off of my Asus H97M-PLUS vdroop disappeared on my Strix 970. Along with it no longer stuttering when benching. :)

Also raised my score by a bit... And by a bit 150ish... I'm assuming the other board doesn't have that great of power delivery. :/

it could be true. my mates 7870 overclocked a bit higher on my msi board compared with his z77 d3h

Yeah... I feel bad for my friend with his R7 260X... It does 1285MHz on the core 24/7 stable, and 1290MHz bench stable... Then the memory +10MHz and crashes... *cough*goddammit hynix*cough*

That's just their way of telling you to bench outside when it's colder :P

Well it's not winter anymore. :( all I had to do for benching then was remove my side panel, open my window and turn on a fan and instant 10F+ temp drop in my room... :/ Then I think Wednesday it was 90F...

I've got the window open so my room can cool down. It's around 10C at the minute so hopefully coupled with the giant-ass fan I now own, I'll be able to push the memory a little further and maybe the core if I can keep that cool enough too.
