Is 1080p "Ultrawide" Worth it

I am talking from a mainly gaming and light productivity perspective. I have my eye on this monitor in particular. It is better than my current monitor by adding an IPS panel or is it worth saving up more to upgrade a 1440x3440 monitor instead due to the limited vertical height.

i would personally save for the 3440x1440 if you have the hardware to push it as that seems to be the craze right now, meaning it will have more support in games and looks amazing

Having used a 34" 1440p Ultrawide, I would say save up for it. Definitely worth it.

i would get the 1440p. i think that 25" would be rather small as its ultra wide. After buying a UHD monitor i wouldn't be able to recommend anything with less resolution. At 1080p you can see all the pixels
