On a GBA or GBC emulator you can play these, main series, Pokémon games:

Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen (the last two being remakes of the first games).

I would mostly recommend Crystal and Emerald. In that order too, because otherwise you will get used to the nice things they added in Emerald.

The Super Mario series games are fun too (the first 4 Mario games, released as 'Super Mario Advance' 1 through 4) and Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga is fun too.

Other than that I would recommend too:

GameBoy:

- R-Type

 - Tetris

GBA:
- F-Zero GP Legends

- WarioLand 4

Mother 3.

There's a patch utility that will apply an English translation done by fans. My kid plays it on our emulator arcade PC.

Kirby tilt and tumble if you can find an emulator that supports motion.

Mega Man with touch inputs? You really do seem to be trolling.

I don't really play many games for gameplay anymore honestly. I play most games just for the graphics.
