which ram to pick???

im planning to build a gaming pc with core i7 4790k watercooled and msi z97 gaming 5
i want to have 2x8 rams but there are alot of options out there and all of them are almost of the same price value
here's my options:
hyper x fury                              1866     CL10      1.5v      or     2666 CL15 1.2v
hyper x beast                           2400     CL11       1.65v
hyper x savage                        2133    CL11       1.5v       or 2400 CL11 1.5v
corsair vengence LP                1600      CL9        1.5v
corsair vengence                      1600     CL10      1.5v
corsair vengence pro                1600     CL9        1.5v (golden)    or     2400 CL11 1.65v     or    1866 CL9 1.5v
g.skill ripjawsX                           1866      CL9      1.5v
curcial ballistix tactical                2666     CL16     1.2v
i know that ram speed differences doesn't show up much of an advantage and that most people go with the ram that looks cool with their rig but i want to know about the other stuff that these rams might differ from each other

so can you guys help me identify which brand of these is better (disregarding of the specs of each ram )
and which is best in terms of mhz , latency and voltage between them?

so there is no , this type of ram optimizes itself for you, this ram has better "enter perk here" than the other rams...?

Sidenote, but may I ask why a 4790k rather than a 6600k / 6700k?

  • Speed: This doesn't actually matter. Speed has been shown plenty of times to do little to improve most things significantly. However, the price point between the slowest and fastest RAM has shrunk so it doesn't hurt to get the fastest speed you can. However, don't expect anything amazing.
  • Latency: The lowest number you can find at a given speed, once you've found the fastest RAM you can afford. Latency is not an absolute value. That is the DDR3-1866 RAM with a CAS latency of 10 is not worse than the DDR3-1600 RAM with a CAS latency of 9. In fact, the DDR3-1600 RAM with a CAS latency of 9 is actually worse. Latency is clock cycles. So if you want to do some math, just take the CAS latency and divide it by the speed.
  • Voltage: Lower is better.
  • Brand: I think there are more brands that aren't crap than brands that are. So you really can't go wrong picking anything.

For a gaming PC, the 6600k is on par (and sometimes better) than a 4790k. Also, it's price should be lower, unless you live in a place with screwed up prices.

i live in a place with screwed up currency and and customs
also if i plan to change to skylake i'll have to change the motherboard as well and the change on both it and the cpu will make the cost significantly change

so why is the lower the better?

so the beast is faster but has higher voltage
which one is considered better ?

You want highest MHz with lowest CAS latency or CL!

Good set of RAM 1600MHz CL8 or 1866MHz CL9 or 2133MHz CL10 or 2400MHz CL11... :P

Example 1600MHz CL8 = 1866MHz CL9 but 1600 CL9 is inferior to 1866Mhz CL9... (voltage increases heat)
