Where can I put my home server

i just got a home server but i dont know where to put it in my house

(i live in australia so basments and attics dont exist)

its pretty loud so until i get quieter fans id prefer for it to be away from my living areas and bedrooms (my laundry is small and right next to a bedroom)

please help

Umm, my brother lived in Australia and they had an attic and a basement... are you sure you don't just live in a flat/apartment? LOL

Do you have an attached garage? It could just go in there.

I have my server stuff in a hallway linen closet that I emptied out and ran networking into.

My garage is crammed full of boxes, do you think a 15kg server will be safe if I stacked it on top of a bookshelf?

I have mine in the furnace room right beside the furnace. It is basically undetectable there since the furnace is so loud.

I'd honestly look at some simple shelving from the Hardware Store and put that in your Garage. If it's full of boxes maybe its time to break some down and bin them?

Otherwise if you own the property maybe consider something more permanent such as a wall mount.
