$500 budget for  the chair, geez you people must be idiot or something. Just buy a regular computer desk chair and put bunch of pillows on top of it.

I'd look into the Herman Miller Aeron if you can stretch your budget just a bit more. It comes equipped with a 12 year warranty. Plus, it's all mesh so you'll never have to worry about sweating. You either purchase a dxracer now and look for a replacement within the next 3-4 years; or you purchase a quality chair that will last you a decade.

not looking for some cheap chair, i have bad back issues with them from a motorcycle accident in 2009... looking for a FULLY padded back chair that has all the tilt, height, angle and so on features... willing to spend more then 500 if necessary... see picture for GENERAL reference

This mentality is great when you're only 17. Just wait until you're in your mid 20's with back pain.

That is the nature for us to get back pain. Nothing can avoid, you can't even avoid getting sick.

Only 22 and I can second this ^

"Just get an office chair" is BAAAAD advice if you're already wanting a good chair.

...I'm still stuck on "Just an office chair" and it's awful.

I've been looking at DXRacer. The mesh on Herman Miller does not give me confidence, and I've not liked the feeling of any I've tried.

There's other options if budget isn't an issue though.

I have a Steelcase Leap V2 and It is very comfortable and offers a lot of adjustment options. I purchased it used (only way I could afford it) and it is built like a tank.  I am confident it will last me many years.  It is worth trying out some options before you buy if possible.
