Not bad, but not sure about that CPU, might be a handicap.

Still, will definitely put any console to absolute shame.

They are junk, I told him that. I've got an old 8350 lying around I plan on giving him.

Seems like it is worth it for 600 dollars...But the cpu is meh...But since you stated that you got a 8350 lying around..Then yes go for it..Just don't get ripped off :)

Don't call me a nerd, it makes me look slightly smarter than you

For $600 that's not bad, certainly.

If you're upgrading him to an 8350 then go for it, that'll be a solid rig then.

That's why you go to a viewing of the item to make sure it all works, and watch the drives being wiped and having windows re-installed.

with a AIO and Twin Frozer 290X, that is cheap.. like really. CHEAP...

almost so cheap i would be a little worried for the state of his hardware.... did the current owner OC really hard? is the GPU overvolted, and now artifacting?

Or sold... you never know if the ones who buy it will do a recovery on your disc to dig through your dirt... Which could get you sued or arrested, or both, depending on what you had on there.

It's got logs going back several months and no out of date or missing logs... a few failed updates but other than that nothing.

I ran PassMark and none of the temperatures rose, excluding cpu but I'm throwing an 8350 in it today.
