GTX 970 Good for streaming?

Hey i plan on upgrading my GPU vary soon in the next month but i wanna get whats best for streaming i haven't streamed in a while its complicated but i do kno for sure that i wont be able to stream GTAV i can barley run it and thats my main game i plan on playing a whole lot of. I will post my specs down below. Is a CPU better to upgrade to stream with. I was also offered a r9 280x at a GREAT price so i was also considering that as well PLZ Help

970 wouldn't be a problem, the rest is fine too.

Well, Shadowplay isn't really what you want if you want to be serious about streaming. CPU h.264 encoding is what you want, not some GPU thing. If you want to just get something that'll work, the Quicksync function of your i5's iGPU is fine and you'll have no load on the CPU/GPU meaning you can pick any GPU you want. No need to pay the extra price premium for the GTX 970 when you can save $70 and get an R9 290 that performs almost as well. Shadowplay is kind of pointless for you since if you're going the non-CPU route, you already have the quicksync option.
