Does Geforce 900 Series support 10 bit

I have gtx 680 and gtx 970
when I plug my gtx 970 I see option for 10bpc
does that mean it will output 10bit?

my monitor also 10 bit

As far as I know you need special cables and connectors and what not to properly run 10-Bit

That much I know its why I use a Radeon card in my main system

Quick Google search shows that the 10-Bit Color Depth for Nvidia GPU's is fully 24/7 supported in windows on the Quadro's, and all of Nvidia's GPU's 8 series and newer support 10-bit 24/7 in linux.

HDMI 1.3 support 10 but and so does display port cable

And I am using display port cable

But still what am trying to guess

Does the 900 series support it ?

Because before and as far as I seen only quadro did and I used one before seen the 10 bit difference in Photoshop but I don't work In that field anymore so I don't have photoshop to test

Its hard to say give it a shot and see what happens. I know my 260m supports it in Linux for sure. But In windows its doesn't like it at all.

I'm not sure that they do... I have a 10-bit display, a Samsung u28d590d and my GPU only sees it as 8-bit... however I am not 100% sure if the panel is dithering to display 10bit based on a 8bit input therefore only showing it as an 8bit panel to the gpu.
