do you need a fan controller or temp/pump controller with that?

Ok here is the final everything, sorry for the other thread if this is sorta the same thread, but more finalized.

Also if these needs to be moved to build logs/planning then that's alright.

Finally I've got the whole build plan and layout for my custom watercooling loop.

I'll be using a Corsair 900D Case, and 2 480mm radiators

Here is the list of parts I've accumulated thus far:

3Iy3P.png

I'll also be getting a fractal design adjust 108 fan controller, and there is only 5 fans because I already have 4, and I'd like to have a spare.

I'm going to figure out which kind of 90 degree/45 degree fittings I need later on as well to finish everything.

I'm probably going to paint/dye the noctua's as well, maybe the fan blades green and the casing black.

Plan:

It's somewhat subject to change but thats about the plan so far. Also the front 3 intake fans may become exhausts to get out some of the air that's being brought in.

3IyIp.jpg

I'll make a full build log of this later on when I start.

I think depending on when I get my money it will be sometime this week when it's completely done/ in the process of being built.

Go buy Noctua's from Amazon for 3 or 4 bucks cheaper.

Matte black fittings are nice in pictures, but when you get them and they are scratched, they will be ugly.

As for your loop flow, try to point your upper 120mm fans up to work with convection.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

I've been lied to all my life! Lol.

Back on topic, are you still sure you want to go with black fittings? I think the black sparkle fittings look pretty nice. Im not entirely positive that one liter of coolant is going to be enough. I would get 3 bottles of the Pastel Concentrate just in case (And if it is too much, you can always use it for a refill of your loop when it gets empty), and go buy Distilled water from the supermarket.

EDIT: Dont forget that you mix 250mL of concentrate to 750mL of distilled water.

1 litre isn't enough, I i just put that there to include it.  And yes heat does rise, but only if the air is "stagnant"

Idk about black fittings, but I like black more than silver, plus it'll add to the black/green I'm going for can you link the black sparkle so I can see?

oo those aren't bad either, I may do the black or those, I'm going to go talk to the guy that helped me put together my pc at fry's tomorrow, I wanted to put it together myself but I was concerned as it was my first build, luckily the guys at fry's let me do it with them, (probably because I paid their bills for the month with my bill at the end LOL)

anyways he had a custom loop with 3 680's in it and said if I ever wanted to he'd help me out. So I'll take him all the lists tomorrow+layout and see what happens from there.

The people at fry's that don't work in the computer section were absolute retards, I talked to a guy about monitors and he had to call his supervisor to answer questions and even that guy didn't know.  The people that helped me out in finding the parts I wanted+ some of the parts they didn't have so they suggested others and explained what was good, all of em seemed to know what I was talking about+ what I wanted. Then the 2 tech guys that built it with me were both die-hard computer builders like us here on the forums :D

they even modded 1 of my pci slot covers to hold a power cord for my lights lol, with a dremmel

It was a car LED strip, cheaper than normal case LED's from places like nzxt etc, and had better quality, with a remote that changed the LED colors. It needed an external plug-in to the wall, so they modded a pci slot cover to fit the plug thing in it, then the cord just plugged into it from the wall. Was really ingenious actually
