Difference between these two EVGA GTX 980 Superclocked?

What's the difference between these two: 04G-P4-1982-KR and 04G-P4-2982-KR?

Is it only aesthetic or am I missing something?

My guess is the first one is EVGA's version of a blower cooler whereas the second one is Nvidia's.

The second one is NVIDIA's reference design. EVGA is just selling that one. The first one is EVGA's design for a blower style cooler 970. 

 

That should be the only difference. Temps may vary, but they'll be within margin of error of each other

One looks like shit, the other one looks ok. That's probably the primary difference.

Personally, I think they both look alright. Neither looks like shit or awesome.

2982 has the Titan cooler.
