Router antennas

Tadas

Wireless N (2.4ghz) needs only 1

wireless N (5.0GHz, about 35% of modern laptops and phones support this) needs 2 (one of the 2 antennas can be a 2.4GHz)

So for example, i have a router that has 2 internal antenas. however is out puts:

Main named wifi ( FBI Surveillance Van #4 )

Code name wifi ( belkin.aae )

Faster wifi ( belkin.aae.5.0GHz )

My router, great signal, i reccomend it.: http://www.ncix.com/detail/belkin-f9k1102tt-dual-band-wireless-6e-72053-1374.htm

newer AC version of my router: http://www.ncix.com/detail/belkin-ac1000-dual-band-wireless-01-75542.htm

wireless AC (newest wifi standard, very few mobile devices support this) needs 3
