It looks like a little too much TIM was put on the CPU. What do you think Broken Fingers?

I'd try it out with everything the way it is. No GPU is required as long as the iGPU wasn't disabled in the BIOS.

Sorry..trouble on my end..the paste looks alittle heavy..but the CPU also looks dished..good to install the cooler..do not attach anythig outside of the case...put the MB in your case and attach with corner screws and one in the center..1 stick or RAM..and ONLY a DVD player..connect the 24 pin and the 8 pin on the MB..no GPU just the monitor onto your IGPU

Your best effort is the easiest thing to give to someone else..

this method will assure a good ground and will not cause any problems for your HDD's..we are just checking for a Mb response..

..make sure the CPU fan has been plugged in..

 

When you are set..then short the PWR header on the MB with a screw driver..just touch the 2 pins for a second

The trouble with that is that the system will not have a secure ground..the case method will be a little safer..imo..

One closest to the motherboard connector most likely. Make sure it says DIMM_1.

DIMM 0 ..remember..we are just seeing if it comes to life..you will just be looking for some response ..fan spin on the CPU..flicker on the monitor..etc..

Pretty sure it says DIMM 1.

uhhh i don't know what this is supposed to mean, but i hear kinda like a tick noise the cpu fan spins up but then it stops and the cpu fan stops
