Yes, I am not a big fan of it... The lighting on it is not very consistent and it has WAY to many g keys. I only use 3 xD

Mine is a big mess at the moment, what with my exams approaching and trying to keep a computer on my desk.

I want the K70 RGB but it is quite expensive.

I have one on my desk actually. Really nice keyboard, but unless you really, REALLY, want RGB, I'd say to save some money cause it's cool at first, but really you just keep it at a solid colour after a while. However, the flexibility of being able to change the colour to match any build you have is pretty awesome

I need RGB, I dont want it for the fancy flashing and stuff but I never have my lights on at night so that means I can actually SEE my keys :P. It is a nice keyboard too which is the main reason I want it. I wont be getting it any time soon as I have to but a shit ton of stuff before Star Citizen is relegated like a new GFX card and a joystick setup not to mention ships :P It is on my list though.

  • 2 weeks later...

Spent a good hour tidying up everything behind my desk, so here's a new pic. Props if you can name the song I'm listening to. Took this pic on my SIII which normally sits under my main phone next to my PS2.

Anyways, I have just a few warnings. HDD fans are not cheap. The HDD will probably get hot (a good 35-40C depending on the drive, ambient temps, and the HDD fan), and yeah. Oh, and the power brick cable is LOOOOOONG. And not very happy being moved around since it is thick.

Dang dood. You are good. And it wasn't paused. The picture is on a weird angle cuz I was still tethered to my rig and blasting it. :P

Nice HDD coaster!

Why thank you. :) I completely gutted the drive and made sure it was waterproof (and it survived both 48 hours with water in it and with it dry in water). :)

EDIT: Made one for my sister too with the same process.

I got the desk itself for free from my neighbor, the shelf is left over plywood that I laminated with fake wood vinyl flooring. The TV is a cheapo 75hz 1080p RCA that I got for $80, speakers are the Proscan 2.1 75w system. Zelotes "For the game" eBay gaming mouse RGB, Xtreme gaming keyboard RGB (the source house brand). There's a Nightcore i4 battery charger, along with an Anker 25w usb charger, and a Duratrax Onyx 240 charger shoved into the cabinet. Thsts a Radeon 3870 on top.

Well that looks like a nicely themed AMD rig you have there.

I don't suppose the scar was originally a part of the setup plan? ;)
