He should have gone for windows 8.1 from g2a which he could have saved $100 then spent that on a better case/motherboard

CPU: i5 25000 3.3 GHz             Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V-LK          Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB           Display: Samsung SD24 24" 1080p          

GPU: EVGA GTX 660 SC 2 GB     Sound: Razer Kraken pro                            PSU: Rosewill 630 watt                    Storage 1: 128 GB Adata XPG SX900 SSD

Case: Rosewill Challenger       CPU Cooler: Corsair h80i                    Mouse: Corsair M65                                   Storage 2: Seagate 2 TB HDD

He couldn't have gotten much better of a motherboard its a ROG board

@AlwaysFSX an i7 for gaming. with a 760 for $2,000 (In a mini tower)

That's true, but maybe better case

No 350D is a great case. Should have gotten a better GPU

"Yes we could have gone for i5/760 and saved a few bucks. You're not the first nor last that will point that out. I don't see what is so confusing about it, there is no down side to having the i7/760. You probably wouldn't have gone that route, so don't for your build. :) This is her computer, it has a wide range of capabilities with this setup. As for the extra power, its a 80 plus platinum certified for more stable power plus it allows for upgrades to a second 760, a 780, two 780s or some newer GPU in the future. Thanks for commenting xD"
