Id say 8/10, pretty sweet rig, bar the cpu. Compared to the rest its a little below par.

Great system tho. :)

  • CPU
    I7 3770k @3.5 (for now)
  • Motherboard
    Asus p8z77-v lx
  • RAM
    8gb Corsair Vengeance
  • GPU
    Asus 660
  • Case
    NZXT Phantom 410
  • Storage
    WD 500gb black
  • PSU
    ocz 650w
  • Cooling
    Nzxt havik 140

Wow, I have a 3770K as well, and a mid-range video card... 7/10.

thanks ^^ it's really the weakest part but not a problem at all. the only game that brings my cpu to it's knees is crysis 3 in the grass areas (the cpu is overclocked by 800mhz btw^^)

Well more isn't really needed for gaming. ;) lovely overclock too!

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

/\ (Nup): 8.5/10, Nice case! :D, Verry nice specs Sir!

  • CPU
    I5 4440 (3.1) :'(
  • Motherboard
    Crappy Acer Mobo
  • RAM
    8gb Kingston 1600mhz
  • GPU
Asus GTX 750 Ti (THX for the advice on the forum, works great!) + GTX 645 2GB OEM as Physx (Might make no sense, YOLO right!?)
  • Case
Yes, i have a prebuilt computer case.... I'm a noob Ik. This is what the case looks like: http://content.hwigroup.net/images/products/xl/183701/3/acer_aspire_mc605_dtsm1eh006.jpg (is not my PC, same case though)
  • Storage
    1000GB
  • PSU
Corsair 600W (was only 5 euro more then the 500w one)
  • Cooling
Stock, why better cooling when you have a locked CPU :'(

 I hope I'll get a 5....

PS: Display, one Samsung 931bw 75hz, and an apple 17 inch studio display 2nd monitor

Thank you! Not the craziest power house, but it does its job quite well.

It is a lovely case, i'm a real sucker for the phantom line-up :P

As for your build, its all a question of perspective imo. Beside a 780 ti build its not great, but for what it is it does seem quite nice. Id give it a 6.5-(7)/10 for a budget build :)

Although your gpu set up is kinda confusing, but hey why not ;)

*this post is no rating and not intended to be rated*

hey man, non-k cpu does not always mean not overclockable. i have mine overclocked quite a bit. try it.

also: i don't think overclocking is the only justification for a better cpu cooler, noise is also quite important to most people. but if it doesn't bother you, do your thing ^^

Boots about 5-10 seconds slower than my netbook with an SSD. I love it. :D Not to mention it has the highest end Pentium II ever made. :)

What do you guys think of my Powermac G4? ;) (the dark blue model)

CPU: PowerPC G4 450mhz (yeah, 50mhz overclock)

GPU: Ati Rage Pro 128 (16mb VRAM!)

RAM: 1GB 667mhz (verry impressive for 1999 if you ask me) (4x256mb)

HDD: 40GB 5400rpm

Got Mac os X 1.5 running on it. used to run a minecraft server on it. ( Don't try this at home kids ;) )

tmcclelland455, from which year is dat old laptop?, for now I'll 2014 give it a 4/10 because you'll be able to do some simple task on it. But looks like a pretty great laptop for the time it was built.

Thanks Nup for the rating :D, and thx Abyssic, I did some internet research and found out somebody has the i5 4440 running 3.57ghz, I'll probably try it :D

I'd give that a 7/10 (OC and the amount of RAM), and assuming you meant OS X 10.5. The laptop I have is from early-mid 1998.

nice rig, i'm jelly of that cpu and oc. but what's going on with your gpu setup? how did this happen?

7.5/10

bought the 660 off a mate of mine for £110. already had the 650 Ti boost and thought i would use it as a PhysX card. it does the job quite well. also the CPU OC is as follows, 46/46/45/44 with BCLK at 100MHz. with this board i can go further but Prime 95 goes the 80C at 48/48/48/48@100MHz.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. The True Path of the Feathered One. ~ Dimboble-dubabob III

You get a 7/10. Pretty good

Ok, I cheated a little with my sig

i7-960, factory speeds, factory cooler

Asus X58 Sabertooth Motherboard

2x Radeon HD6850s (Not sure what manufacturer)

Thermaltake Toughpower 700W

16GB Corsair XM3 Ram

Seagate Baracuda (2TB)

Phanteks Enthoo Primo Case

Tt eSports Level 10M Mouse

Razer Megalodon Headset

Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 Keyboard

I know the specs in my sig are listed differently, I get them 6 hours after I get up. Originally this computer when I got it had 8GB of G.Skill 1333 MHz RAM, a Thermaltake Level 10 GTS Case and the only drive was a Western Digital Blue 500GB.

But the price was right and my laptop was heading towards its grave

wow, well that's a bit unbalanced xD the mobo and cpu are high end from a few years ago but the cpu has only a stock cooler and no oc? and those parts packed into a state of the art enthusiast case... i don't mean to be rude but you should try to consider how you spend your money in the future ^^

i'd give you a 6.5/10

I needed a new case, I figured I was better off buying the case I wanted rather than spending the money on a tie-over, since the leftover parts are from my tie-over PC. I should have a new GPU, memory and power supply within the next month. Once I get these plus a second GPU, then both CPUs plus the CPU will be running on water, with as many radiators as I can cram into it, all overclocked pretty heavily. I didn't see the point in spending money on a new CPU cooler now when I could for the same money buy the waterblock later.

TL;DR it's a work in progress, give me a little time and the money spent thus far will have been worth it
