List your most fun or favorite overclock

This could be your "best" overclock on your favorite CPU. But it doesn't have to be. It can be something sentimental or vintage, in other words, pick the OC that strikes your fancy. 

-could be an overclock you are very proud of, perhaps because you had to invest many many hours to get it right.

-could be your fastest overclock or your most well rounded overclock. Or just something with intrinsic value. Please include a snip or two including the CPUz shot and other relevant information.
-Give us a little background on how you achieved this overclock. Has to be a CPU that you've owned, not a wish list item. For me, it's definitely the AMD Phenom II 970 BE Zosma (hence my avatar), which unlocked to a hexacore that runs stock at 3.5Ghz but OCd to 4.0GHz. These chips also had a great memory controller that could be easily overclocked, yielding very impressive memory latency/ L3 cache numbers. 

This is my favorite overclock of all time because I've just about pushed everything to the limit, including FSB, clock frequency, nb frequency, memory speed and memory timings. In other words, it's my most well rounded Phenom II overclock ever and the latency number is hard to beat, definitely in the 99th percentile and even now you'd be hard pressed to beat that, even with modern CPUs.

trying to DICE cool a Core 2 quad. I used a section of copper pipe for my CPU pot.

still got the CPU and board, in the end I killed the ram from condensation. I think the board now has some bent pins. Windows update in the end screwed me so I wasn't able to get a good OC

I don’t know if it’s beat or favorite, but I went to a lot of trouble OCing a Q66(I forget) to right into stock Q9(I forget) performance and felt a lot of accomplishment for doing so.  It was a long time ago though.  I recall the only way to do it was to use a very particular motherboard that only intel made. they were extremely hard to get and we’re not normally sold in retail stores.  I had to order it and waited months.

Back in the day...I had my first high end rig powered by an i7 950....3.06Ghz stock, somehow I managed to send it to 4.1Ghz with a what was then new thing at the time...an all in one cooler. Still have the thing, might have to throw a SSD into it and make it run again and overclock it again and grab some screenshots!

It's just as snappy as my 5.0GHz 9600KF rig at first blush. These chips also had a great memory controller that could be easily overclocked, yielding very impressive memory latency/ L3 cache numbers. 

This is my favorite overclock of all time because it's the hardest I've pushed my favorite platform, K10. 

My 1100T has been running on an all core 4.0GHz overclock (Cool n Quiet disabled) for a little over 5 years I guess? It's been so rock solid I don't even remember when I applied it. I think I had profiles for even 4.2 but it wasn't stable enough for a prolonged 100% load on all cores, nor did I bother investing in the time to fix it.

but a Socket 479 to 478 converter, a Pentium 1.6 M overclocked to either 2.4 or 2.7 can´t quite remember the top point..

 

overclocked plenty CPU´s even the small Celeron 433 my 233 Pentium II and the 450 Pentium III these all reached high clocks.. but remember the socket 479 mobile base cpu, because it just demolished the Netburst Intel CPU´s and was the fastest CPU on Superpi at the time, with a small cooler, that where bundled with the converter..

we played with compressor cooling all the way back, refilling with different gasses actually before we ever played with water.. but remember i went more into the extreme silence than actually going for OC, so elestic band mods for harddrives, special lownoise fans, volt modding fans.

 

OC´s ive been most dissapointed about is the XP2600barton, that i bought because i wanted to try a ShuttleX system (small form factor. ) it Oc´ed well but was still slow
