Resolution changes and can't switch back?

Hello,

I've been experiencing a very odd problem, where if I turn on my computer for the first time in a day, entering any game and then pressing the windows key to minimize will change the resolution to the whole desktop from 2560x1440 to 1024x768 and you can't switch the resolution back even trough Windows settings or NVIDIA Control Panel. If I restart the PC, then the problem is fixed, however it's getting annoying to do this every day.

 

The only thing I've tried so far is reinstalling my GPU drivers using DDU.
