image upload failing, mobile and desktop

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

capy/pasted image into post

 

What happened?

pasting an image sometimes seems to result in a permanent "queued" state. works perfectly fine when adding from files and manually dropping into the post, but copy/pasted images get stuck. Waited a minute or so for the image to upload, but no dice.

sometimes adds a text labeled "spacer_IMG.png" or something, can't replicate that perfectly. this spacer_IMG thing can be deleted normally.

Can confirm in Firefox as well, dragging the image @Fasauceome posted into the attach field shows the issue for me

it used to affect photo 4.5mb and above, now it's affecting smaller sizes too
