Should I buy the Odyssey G7 32" now?

Hi, the title pretty much say everything. I read some rumor about next gen IPS panel, Display port 2.0 and HDMI 2.1 display coming soon. I don't know a lot about displays. So should I get the G7 or wait for a while. I'm not bulding my PC until December so I have some time.

can the games you play run at 240fps?

i personally would get the 27 inch instead because to me its very annoying having to move your head to look at different parts of the screen

I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna hit 240 Hz but with 1440p, 1ms response time, HDR, G-Sync and the curved display. The other good option I saw is the LG 34GK950F-B, but it only 144Hz and since the samsung is cheaper and has HDR 600 vs 400 from the LG. I figure just get the samsung.

In addition to gaming, my work is much easier with a bigger screen.
