I’m wanting to build a budget gaming computer and would like to know others opinions on which gpu to choose with my current plan. The system I want to build is going to have a Ryzen 5 1600AF or a 2300

i am also going to have 16gb of ram for streaming/video editing but I am having a tough time on deciding whether to go GTX or RX and if so what card. I have budgeted around 150-180$ on and card and feel comfortable on the used markets. I would like to know which of these would be better for 1080p gaming/streaming and some video editing. Im right now thinking about a used gtx 1060 or something related to that or a RX 580 8gb. I would apriciate any help choosing 🙂 (if you have any other suggestions I would like to hear them)

with that cpu, if u wanna stream i would recommend using nvenc, which requires an Nvidia card

Go used, if you want to stream your money will go a lot further, a used GTX 1070 or 1070 Ti should be obtainable for the price of a new RX580 8GB.

if the price of the regular 1650 is the same as a rx 580 or 1060, dont bother with it.

 

as @TheDailyProcrastinator said, try to find some deals on a used 1070/1070 ti as it will perform better than the cards mentioned
