Xbox HDD for pc

I was wondering could I take my xbox one hdd and use is for my pc. It a 2tb hdd and it will save me around 100 bucks. At first I was planning to buy a Western Digital Black 2tb hdd. I already have a 1TB ssd(Samsung 970 evo).

Where are you ? A 2tb hdd should be much less than 100 usd

yes you can reformat it if you want to save a buck

Yes you can, it's the same hdd as a pc.

Those seems ofley expensive, id get a cheap 2tb drive, or a 4tb drive. Normally bigger hdds are faster too.

Yeah, the Xbox One (and PS4, if anyone's curious) just uses a bog-standard SATA hard drive that runs at 5400rpm.
