Is this a good Ryzen mini-itx mobo?

I'm planning on doing a Ryzen build in the NZXT H1, and I have a few specific requirements for my motherboard. I need 2 m.2 slots, and WiFi 6. There were quite a few motherboards that met these requirements, but the NZXT H1 has a USB C port, and I wanted a motherboard with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 header to be able to use it. The ASUS ROG Strix B550-I AM4 Mini-ITX Motherboard (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1569271-REG/asus_rog_strix_b550_i_gaming_republic_of_gamers_strix.html) is the only mobo I've found that does this. Is this a good board for my needs, or should I go with a different mobo and sacrifice a USB C?

Thanks!

Currently trying to decide between Ryzen 7 3700x, Ryzen 9 3900x, and Ryzen 9 3950x.

Doesn't the B550 board have limited PCIE4 lanes?  Wouldn't a x570 board suit you more since you're gonna dedicate some lanes to the USB-C at the front already?

to first x16 and 1 m.2

I'd only by a 200$ board for a 3900x or 3950x

IDK lol, this is my first PC build. I've done some research but idk about which would be best for me

The first m.2 and the x16 slot ( so basically anything on the cpu lanes ) is 4.0.

PC: Motherboard: ASUS B550M TUF-Plus, CPU: Ryzen 3 3100, CPU Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34, GPU: GIGABYTE WindForce GTX1650S, RAM: HyperX Fury RGB 2x8GB 3200 CL16, Case, CoolerMaster MB311L ARGB, Boot Drive: 250GB MX500, Game Drive: WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HDD.

Peripherals: GK61 (Optical Gateron Red) with Mistel White/Orange keycaps, Logitech G102 (Purple), BitWit Ensemble Grey Deskpad.

Audio: Logitech G432, Moondrop Starfield, Mic: Razer Siren Mini (White).

Phone: Pixel 3a (Purple-ish).

Yeah, I'm probably gonna end up going with one of those two. Mainly for the purposes of streaming, recording, video editing, but most of all music production which requires a ton of CPU power.

It's a good board.  If it can handle a 3900x which iirc it can

It will handle a 3950x since current draw between these two chips is relatively similar.

Yes this is also true for X570, but I would assume you'd want the full fat 10Gbps type C at the front, so that's some lanes too.  Plus OP want's M.2 drives and WiFi 6 (which also use the PCIE lanes).

Great. That's the one I'll go with in that case. Are you sure there aren't any better Mini-ITX options that I should take a look at? Or should I be good with this one?

Other than the type c port.

Dmi 4 for the extra m.2 won't matter for a casual user unless your saturating the bandwidth of 3.0 and need the extra headroom ( which I doubt any person will he with a consumer platform.)

an x570 version will be a bit better if you use lots of USB

I mean, I have 2 USB dongles for my keyboard and mouse, one for my microphone, and that's pretty much it. Basically 3 in total, and occasionally I plug in a USB drive or whatever to grab files. So which would you recommend in that case?

Itx isn't the most popular form factor for b550 boards from what I have seen.

This one is decent though I'm sure there is another itx board that I forgot about lol.

You can watch this video reviewing itx b550 boards.

Drives will still reserve the lanes though even when not saturating them, could be wrong.
