Does anyone know how to change your GPU to act like an RTX GPU?

RYRY1002

It's not a matter of software, the hardware is different.

If somehow you got it working, the performance would be garbage

So I have a 1050 Ti, but I was going to try the new Ray Tracing on Minecraft, but I only have a 1050 Ti, so is there any way that I can make Minecraft see my GPU as an RTX GPU instead of a 1050 Ti?

Maybe by modifying the drivers, but I don't know if that's possible. Does anyone know a way or have any other ideas?

Pull it out, and put an RTX GPU in your system, then it should behave as if you had an RTX GPU.

It cant use it like an RTX GPU because there are Tensor and RT cores missing. Same reason why even 16 series GPUs cant run Minecraft RTX beta.

Ok cool, I was wondering, I didn't think it was possible but it would be pretty cool if you could.

Yeah I was going to say, there would be no way to do proper RTX on a 1050 Ti because the RT cores are missing.

What about Radeon RX 5700XT? I heard AMD's supposedly adding ray tracing to Navi GPUs soon?

It won't work on any AMD GPU's because NVIDIA coded it so that specifically these GPU's are the only GPU's that work with Minecraft

No am talking generally, what I meant is: Will Navi GPUs be getting any kind of ray tracing at all?

It's not a problem of "can it do this", but "does anyone bother to make it do this".

SEUS PTGI is $10 and you can use it with your 1050 Ti. Garbage performance though, maybe 15-20 fps. 😆

Set your render distance to the lowest it goes and you can get SEUS PTGI for free from https://yiff.party/patreon/4847727.

Download SEUS PTGI e12 at https://data.yiff.party/patreon_data/4847727/32990443/4956345/SEUS_PTGI_E12.zip
