I use my laptop more than my desktop. Should I get rid of it? If so, how?

I don't really use it.

 

Sometimes it is useful to have an extra PC, like if I want my mom to do something, but I do not really see the use right now.

 

It's a Skylake i7-6700, 16G of RAM, no GPU (lmao on this aspect - my laptop performs better in-game than that desktop), a 240G or so SSD.

 

I don't really want to sell it, but I don't know how to take advantage of it, either. It sucks a lot more power than a laptop, I don't need it on most of the time, and I like having more space at my desk, but I also need to put it somewhere.

Nope. Everybody in my family has something they want, too. There's not many particularly tech-savvy people either

Skelbiu.lt ? Sell it there. No need to put it on ebay. If you don't use it, why keep it? Earn some money. If not, use it as NAS or as folding machine.

Desktop usually takes less space on desk than a laptop.

Laptop needs lot of space, it must be placed fully on your desk and if you're using extra usb ports - needs even more space. Desktop needs only few cm2 for monitor and pull-out tray for keyboard and mouse that don't need extra space ot the top.

Not all of them. But I agree that it's mostly for nobody. I personally use that tray if I want to eat something and using computer at the same time.

It's why smart people invented this (also it's not really true because most PCs are massive plus you have to account for keyboard and mouse needs also some space for movement obviously)
