This one : https://www.amazon.com/Seasonic-SSR-550FX-Modular-Warranty-Compact/dp/B073GY89G5

Or this one : https://www.newegg.com/seasonic-focus-plus-550-gold-ssr-550fx-550w/p/N82E16817151189

If the first one that might be actually the problem with PSU, it has known problems with some GPUs, not exactly the way you described but still, i can't think of anything else. Assuming you did update all your drivers to latest ones as it's obvious solution. Do you have access to any other 450+W PSU (better if some brand-name atleast, 80+ Bronze and up, no OEM stuff) to test it ?

Did you just install the gpu and install drivers? I remember I had the same issue and found that one of the settings in the Nvidia control panel that scales the resolution up to a higher resolution was ticked on. I don't remember the name that Nvidia gave it but this could be the issue

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX GPU: AMD RX 6800M RAM: 16GB  SSD: 500GB NVME
