Canon rebel t7i vs eos m50

Adsome2007

What are the advantages of the eos t7i over the eos m50. Is there a reason why is more expensive and should I get it instead of an m50. ITS currently the same price at best buy which one should I choose. Or is th 77d better than both of them

Uhh...you really need to flesh that out more.

Cost, what you're using it for, etc etc.

The T7i has more lens options without having to use an adapter.

Haha, EDC camera? You must be pretty dedicated. Small, the M50 fits the bill, but you have a much smaller selection of lenses. DSLRs are nicer that way. Why do you want two lenses? Usually it's better to just get quality ones than going with the kit lenses. They also generally don't have the best lenses...like a 50mm prime.

I need one lens that's high mm so that i could zoom far and also a kit lens (16-45, 50-25 or 16-55,70-300. i also found a sony a6000 for 200 dollars cheaper than the m50 which is better.

Honestly, maybe consider the SL2 (200D). The SL2 has the same sensor as the t7i, so you'll be able to get similar quality photos, albeit the t7i does have some more features. But the SL2 has all the basics, including a swivelling touch screen, and is a fair amount cheaper (about $500 CAD) with the 18-55mm kit. With your budget, you could easily pick up an 18-250mm with stabilization for $200, and have money leftover, maybe for a 50mm f/1.8.

As mentioned, you probably want to go for an SLR, you'll get more options in terms of lenses.
