Need a GPU

sytez

Hey, I have a pretty bad PC but it’s able to run games I play at a decent frame rate. My PC has a i7 2600 with 16gb of ram. I play mostly CS:GO and Minecraft at 720p (possibly 1080p in the future?). I was wondering what GPU to buy. My budget is around $200.

I am not sure where you are located, but I used a local classified service called Kijiji and found myself a RX570 used for about 120 Canadian dollars. If you are in state side I am not too sure what you have outside of Craigslist or Ebay. But that may be a good option. I think you can still even buy RX570 or RX580 Radeon cards for cheap brand new, other than that you would be looking at a Nvidia GTX 1050, 1050Ti, 1060, 1650/1650S, 1660 1660S, but the 16 series cards may be out of your price range.

CPU: Ryzen 7 3800X GPU: Reference 5700XT (Asus) Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X470-F RAM: Corsair 32GB Vengeance 3600Mhz PSU: Corsair RM850X White

Cooling: Corsair H115i RGB Storage: 500GB WD SN750 M.2, 4TB Samsung EVO SSD Case: NZXT H500i White

Keyboard: Asus ROG Strix Flare (MX Red) Mouse: Corsair Sabre RGB

What card do you have right now?

The 1660 super looks to be pretty solid for 1080p and it's around $230 USD.  Otherwise you might be better off for that budget looking at the used market.

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!

Thanks for the advice I’ll look into getting possibly a GTX 1050 or a RX570.

As far as new goes the RX 570 and RX 580 is the best value if you have the recommended rated PSU in your system.
