I have significantly reduced the timeout of the slow component, which should ensure that the forum remains responsive. I will continue to investigate the root cause of the issue though, because it doesn't make sense for it to be as slow as it is.

im trying to think, I didn't keep track very well but what I remember is that it was usually me responding to a topic. It happened multiple times only in topics but I don't remember it being in any status updates

looks like it was after your tweaking, might wanna wait for him to reply with a fresh circumstance

I've narrowed down the slow call, but I'm not sure why it's slow at the moment. I will continue to investigate, but it doesn't look like it will be easy to fix.

 

I don't need any more reports of slowness at the moment.
