This Cooler DRAWS 545W!!? Bad Cooling Ideas #2

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Neslab-CFT-33-Coolflow-Chiller-Refrigerated-Recirculator/362771933641?hash=item5476e469c9:g:Gh8AAOSwjHBdf~pS

So that's actually a steal for a 950W chiller unit, it should be closer to $3,000. This page lists specs, it won't get you subzero but it'll get you cold enough AND it has the ability to control the temp of the fluid with decent accuracy. @AlexTheGreatish I think you can find some uses for this around LTT, maybe chilling your LTT water bottle LTTSTORE.COM/WATERBOTTLE or maybe chilling your cutting fluids for the workshop or...maybe chilling a computer even!?

And the fact that it uses the super cheap super common R134a means that anywhere that services a car can re-charge the unit if it's lost some of it's AC charge.

Edit:

Same seller also has the bigger unit too...

That can do 2100W of cooling and still uses R134a. That's A LOT OF COOLING and substantially less janky than hacking up an old water cooler or mini fridge, like I bet this cooler is even approved by workplace safety standards!

The water chiller video they did - isn't that chiller using a peltier? Linus said they'd do a build with that chiller :)

Yep, and the 2100W unit I found on eBay is a heck of a chiller, that baby could chill two maybe three big rig computers. *slaps chiller* Being precisely controlled means they should be able to dial it to sub ambient but above dew point and run without fear of moisture, or crank it down to 5C and live dangerously. It's almost 100% jank-free too....

I know this is old, and i know it's probably be garbage aswell, but i never saw someone to use AIO water cooler (with maybe radiator for 1 120-140mm fan) and actually cool the radiator with TEC coz in that  scenario i think you will get more cooling surfaces and you don't need so much control on TECs coz if you get condensation it will be on radiator not on board. I know it may be a junk but it's not bad idea i think.

intel made this idea work with it's "intel cryocooler", so it doesn't matter anymore.
