Display upgrade from 1366x768 to 1920x1080

Hello,
I have lenovo thinkpad edge e531 with i5 3210m and currently with HD (1366x768) display. I just wondering if i can upgrade this display to FHD (1920x1080) display. Mine notebook doesn´t have geforce 740m, it only have intel hd 4000gpu.
Thanks for the answers

it would depend on if that was ever an option on it and if there exists a 1080 display for it that is actually compatible as laptop displays are proprietary not universal

are they actually running the exact same motherboard , firmware , and both displays use the exact same amount of power and both 40 pin connectors have the same data running through each pin vs them just reusing the connector?

They are not the same models, my have different "machine type model" number and also doesn´t have nvidia gpu as the model with fhd display.

A lot of the time with laptops the screens can have the same mounting and pin but the GPU won't support the display. If your specific laptop doesn't have a 1080p model I'd say you'll have slim to no chance of finding a compatible display to replace it with that is not the same resolution you already have.
