Help with Packet Tracer

I typed in the IP address in the web browser like they have instructed me to but it comes up with “Host Name unresolved” what should I do to solve this?

Go back and double-check that you followed the instructions perfectly. Packet Tracer can be very specific like that. Chances are you either mis-typed something or forgot a step. It happened to me on a number of occasions while dealing with PT.

If you get "host name unresolved" then it sounds like you are trying to browse something with a host name, but something is wrong DNS wise.

It might be that DNS packets are being blocked somewhere, the computer might not be configured to use the correct DNS, or the DNS server might not be configured properly/turned on.

I have to access wireless router through a pc’s web browser I put the IP address of the router and entered but “host name unsolved” appeared, what can I do to solve this?

Maybe screenshots as well of exactly what you're doing, setup, configs, etc?

You also haven't mentioned if you've tried what others have said, if it worked, etc.

I haven’t started the activity properly, so there’s couldn’t be a step to miss and I wasn’t putting in Host name but rather the IP address, so I don’t know where to go from here

Back up and explain what you are trying to do. Without context of what program you are using and what you're trying to do with it, we can't really help.

The packet tracer activity should provide the instructions necessary to complete it. If it does not hold you hand through it re-read the chapter it was based on. This will tell you the answer.
