MaxHeap Iterator

I am almost done with writing my own MaxHeapQueue but I am stuck on the Iterator. I have this

  private class MHPQIterator implements java.util.Iterator <E> {
            private int index = 1;
            public boolean hasNext(){
                return index != size;
            }
            public E next(){
                E value = elementData[index];
                index++;
                return value;
            }

Which is being called by it's public method

 public Iterator<E> iterator(){
        return new MHPQIterator();

    }

But I am running into issues when it should be returning false when empty but it's not. Any ideas? Thanks

Just keeping this here as a backup I have no idea what you're trying to do here, but the method hasNext() will return false if size is anything other than 1, it will return true if it is 1.

Is that what you want it to do, or is something wrong with that? Where is size declared even?

Is size the amount of filled spaces in an array or the actual length of the array?
