FD600-504G-HR220 can integration wireless function with meet 802.11 n/b/g technical standards,  It has built-in high gain directional antenna, the wireless transmission rate up to 300Mbps. It has the characteristics of strong penetrating power and wide coverage. It can provide users with more efficient data transmission security.

Modem/ONT WiFi isn't very good anyway. I would get your own router.

It is standard ISP issue. Does it support WiFi though?

Read the quote. I got from the product page.

If you are willing to trust the product page, it reads "support 802.11 n/b/g technical standards", which if you googled, means that it supports an older generation of wifi.

Yes gentlemen, I read that too, just needed expert insight to be 100% positive.

The thing is, the ISP provides internet cable connection with this device, and I don't know exactly how / why this isn't good.

????

Internet cable? Like fibre going in?

Or Ethernet to connect to local devices?

Or do you want to know why the WiFi is not good?

They (my ISP) calls it fiber optic cable, via Ethernet. I use a desktop, and don't know if the modem relays / transmits any signal, cannot verify.

So far the internet speed which is 15 mbits for the package I bought works okay, I guess. Like I said idk for what else to look into.

I read that in their webpage, this isn't the real fiber optic cable which is expensive, so this is workable less expensive variant that goes in via Ethernet.
